"Volunteers are our connection to local communities," said Marcel Fortin, Executive Director of The Alliance. "Local-driven projects have strong impact. We could not operate without local volunteers who care about their community and are willing to contribute to its success."

People who want to help are needed for simple tasks, such as preparing mailings, and may contact their Champion Community directly or through The Alliance. People or companies with special skills, equipment, materials, cash donations or worker time to donate are also encouraged to get involved.
